The MPU Hot Seat

Stephen Hackett will take on the MPU hot seat.

On this week’s episode, Katie announced that she is stepping away from the podcast almost ten years after the first episode. I will genuinely miss hearing her back and forth with David, her passion for technology and her uncanny ability to explain complex topics with ease.

Of course, Katie’s position as co-host has been the opposite of a hot seat. This is a loooooong running dynamic duo.

What a loss. Katie’s insight and keen side eye and good natured shading of David are irreplaceable. What’s more, one of the Apple indie nerd world’s most prominent institutions is now going to be yet another 2 white guys show. I’m excited to see how the show evolves, but it’s a bummer to lose a woman’s voice in the community.
